IIDA NY Hosts Color Invasion Event Benefiting Pajama Program

Last night, the International Interior Design Association’s New York Chapter hosted a festive fundraising party at Center415 to benefit the Pajama Program, a non-profit organization that provides new books and cozy pajamas to children. The 2019 theme was “Sweet Dreams,” which was inspired by the idea of bringing your subconscious thoughts and fantasies to life.

The festive affair was composed of beautiful and interactive activations, which included the Pillow Room sponsored by Maars Walls; the Bed Sheet Maze sponsored by Carnegie; the Bed Buffet sponsored by ProSpec; Cereal Bar sponsored by InsideSource; a fun Pillow Fight area sponsored by Innovative/Hat and TiiPii Beds; the Psychedelic Dream Room sponsored by Urban Office, Infinium, and Svend Nielsen; and many more. Additionally, Mercer Hamilton sponsored a Beauty Bar that gave guests the sleepover glam experience.

Thanks to this successful event, the Pajama Program received and estimate of around 2,000 units of pajamas and books in donations, plus an additional $1,500 raised in support.

Interior designer, mosaic artist, and friend of House Tipster Allison Eden of Allison Eden Studios, a member of the event’s design committee, took our team throughout the space to see the colorfully designed and over-the-top space!
