Lunada Bay Tile Debuts Large Format Designs

California-based Lunada Bay Tile is known for their simple and authentic glass, ceramic, and concrete tile designs inspired by Southern California coastal living.

Achieving such a high-quality handmade product with superior craftsmanship is paramount. Therefore, the company relies on skills artisans to help them make their signature textures and modern effect.

Tomei Modules, Lunada Bay Tile’s newest large-format tile design that debuted in January 2019, is one of the brand’s most versatile and trend-forward products to date. These tiles feature a subtle color palette and clean lines, which build on Lunada Bay Tile’s already robust lineup.

According to a company representative, “The tiles are ideally suited for creating tailored statements from gentle panoramas to bold and playful abstractions,” and were inspired by modern architects like Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid.

Tiles are available in four sizes: 6×9, 6×12, 9×18, and 12×18, and the entire lineup comes in 11 color options ranging from white to soft fawn and either glossy or matte finishes. With so many choices, there seems to be a Tomei Module combination to fit any designer’s needs for both residential and commercial applications.

“One of the biggest movements in design today is a shift towards clean, contemporary interiors,” notes Director of Design and Marketing Feras Irikat.  “Nothing brings this concept to life better than Tomei Modules, with its pleasing color palette and large-scale dimension.”
