SpaghettiWall introduces the “So White” Collection

From pure material to the shadows of SpaghettiWall, the focal point comes from the survey of color, a study on white as the ultimate creative challenge. As white stands as the absolute color that in summation to all others.

Wassily Kandinsky, a Russian artist renowned for his works in abstractionism, defined white as ‘a silence rich in possibilities’. SpaghettiWall took this approach and materialized this concept, presenting it on a wall, and offering previously unexplored design paths, completely reinterpreting the notion of wallpaper. It is an idea that is traditionally associated with a palette rich in images and colors.

The creative project took the name, ‘So White’, to incorporate the printing process that simulates a feeling of three-dimensionality and tactile experience. The fascinating combinations of shades and relief effects are what differentiates the wallpaper from all others, making the collection deep, delicate and elegant, expressing a series of geometric graphics and natural inspiration.

The first collection that was born out of this project was the ‘White Brush Collection’, bearing the signature of Gian Paolo Venier, an author that collaborated with the SpaghettiWall catalog in the past.

Venier declared, “The inspiration for this collection was drawn from the memory of the words and numbers drawn with lime on the windows of the fishmongers’ of the past, but also from the splendid architecture of the Mediterranean,” continuing on to explain, “The gestures of the brushstroke and the mellow density of white transform the wall into a soft, three-dimensional world where light toys with the material or the effect of shadow is deliberately reinforced.”

The ‘White Brush Collection’ is considered as a wonder of excellence within the ‘So White collection’, it is an ever-changing creative program reworking a series of graphic patterns from the SpaghettiWall catalog. The ‘White Brush Collection’ treads the fine line separating graphics and materials, and reinterprets the imaginative team of Claudio Mennino, Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri and SW Lab. The subjects in ‘white-on-white’ are printed on the new Skin support with a textured surface and high color rendering, also available in a washable Cleaning System version.

SpaghettiWall suggests new graphic explorations in white-on-white with the new “So White” wallpapers. The 2022 news offers new elegant three-dimensional wall effects and tactile effects, with geometric textures and tone-on-tone natural-inspired subjects.
