UK-based wallpaper and paint specialist Graham & Brown has named both its Wallpaper and Color of the Year 2020.

In keeping with yearly tradition, the brand has named one of its archival wallpaper designs, the floral Bloomsbury Neo-Mint, as its Wallpaper of the Year 2020 choice. As a beautiful modern complement to the historical Victorian wall covering, Graham & Brown has named the rich emerald green shade Adeline as it’s Color of the Year 2020 choice.

“Designed to evoke the Victorian Boho aesthetic with its unconventional, eclectic and artistic style, the name Bloomsbury is synonymous with the group of intellectuals formed in 1907 who epitomized the Bohemian artistic lifestyle,” the brand shared about their top wallpaper selection. “The design sits within our Archive trend for next season and the pattern takes a retrospective look at the glorious, iconic designs from the early 20th Century – along with our archive of over 30,000 pieces which is certainly a rich source of inspiration.

“Bright, vibrant intertwining florals are at the centerpiece of this airy wallpaper, accompanied by beautiful butterflies in a serene mint setting – blooming lovely!” the brand added.

This wallpaper print also comes in the colors Clancy Gray, Emerald, and Noir. These options give you the same bohemian flair within the trending color palette of the year ahead – which all centers around rich and historically significant shade Adeline.

“This deep rich bottle green hue was inspired by our Archivist trend,” Graham & Brown said on its website. “Adeline, whose natural qualities work perfectly with most other colors, has taken its name from the first name of the famous writer Virginia Woolf who was a main figure within the Bloomsbury group that she started with her sister.”
