The HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams brand has revealed its Color of the Year 2020 as Romance HGSW2067.
In addition to this trending hue, the designer-inspired range has released the Lowe’s-exclusive “Simply Blissful” Color Collection of the Year 2020, which is composed of 10 complementary colors. Of course, the delicate blush-toned pink Romance is the star of the curated palette, which is all about finding tranquility in the home.

“2020 is the year to create a glamorous home space, one that welcomes you in with open arms every time you walk through the door and continues to wow you,” said Ashley Banbury, HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams Senior Color Designer, in a press statement.
“Romance, our distinguished Color of the Year, is a soft and dreamy blush hue that evokes serenity while simultaneously making a statement. It can be mixed and matched with any of the colors found within the Simply Blissful Color Collection to seamlessly coordinate in the home.”

The other shades in the Simply Blissful color palette include Blue Endeavour (HGSW1451), Vanillin (HGSW4038), Gristmill Greige (HGSW2485), Mint to Be (HGSW2327), Restful (HGSW2285), Island Time (HGSW2312), Coral Reef HGSW1074), Finian Blue (HGSW2384), and Fundamental White (HGSW4001).

Each of these alone makes a statement about serenity and its importance in the new 2020s decade ahead. Together, they combine for a soothing and dreamy quality we all crave in our home sanctuary spaces.
Plus, the palettes are a wonderful natural extension of the HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams 2019 Color of the Year pick, Reflecting Pool. Clearly our cultural shift to calmness is an ongoing adventure!
