Connecticut-based interior designer Sarah Blank of Sarah Blank Design Studio brought beautiful doses of color into the timeless kitchen of the 2020 Palm Beach Kips Bay Decorator Show House charity event.
The designer has created a nature-inspired and Florida-perfect kitchen featuring a collection of sea-themed artwork and an accompanying wine room.
“The space is anchored by a Thermador range and features Kohler’s Poise Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink, beautiful Dekton by Cosentino countertops, a wine cellar, and a large island that blends style with function,” said a Kips Bay press release. “The light blue custom millwork and Fabricut wallcoverings add dimension to the kitchen, while artwork depicting birds and coral pays homage to the home’s South Florida location.”
Additionally, Blank worked with a whole list of other high-end vendors to outfit the kitchen and storage space, including Currey & Co., Bradco Stainless, AXIOM Fine Art, Remains Lighting, Palm Beach Classic Hardware, The Shade Store, New Moon Rugs, Farrow & Ball, Devonshire of Palm Beach, Authentic Provence, and many more.
“We wanted to curate for a home chef who would be looking at the space in a more fundamental way, but also for the person that really wants to walk in and be wowed,” Blank told Veranda. “You don’t have to be afraid of color, especially in the kitchen.”
The color and light are definitely standout features of this open space.
