Barsanti Desmone Shows Sleek Bedroom at Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse 2019

New York City-based interior design firm Barsanti Desmone showcased their signature sophistication through a luxurious master bedroom design at the Brooklyn Heights Association’s Fall 2019 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse.

For this recently-unveiled fundraising showhouse on Pineapple Street, which is on display through November 3, designers Daniel Barsanti and Chris Desmone gave the 1820s wood-frame property a captivating mid-century modern update.

The designers are known for their use of neutral color palettes and sleek, monochromatic rooms. In this contemporary master bedroom suite, there is a rich navy blue and oatmeal mix, warmed up with graphic patterns and shapes in the wall art, window and wall coverings, area rugs, and textured furniture fabrics.

“We decided to use this Phillip Jeffries Ltd. linen wallpaper 3/4 up the wall to raise your eyes upward in this master suite,” the designers shared on Instagram.

More standout pieces in the room include a custom-designed canopy bed swathed in rich layers of natural fabrics, and specially-designed ceramic ball lamps by Nicholas Newcomb.

Of course, it takes a village to bring a gorgeous room like this together.

To outfit the space in style, Barsanti Desmone worked with a variety of top vendors and artists, including The Shade Store, Ressource, Avery & Dash Collections, Élitis, Cowtan & Tout, Dana Scinto, The Bright Group, Palace Oriental Rugs & Carpet, Tribalspace, and more.
