Kim Tomasino Presents Powder Room at Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse 2019

Kim Tomasino Interiors has created not one, but two whimsical bathroom designs for the Brooklyn Heights Association’s Fall 2019 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse.

One area, done in a retro citrus orange and pink color scheme, is a kid’s washroom with creative scalloped-shell wall hangings and light fixtures. A separate area is reserved as an oasis for adults, and turns a contemporary green and white bamboo theme into a sleek powder room.

The standout features of both rooms – which makes them work together cohesively – are surely the colorful textiles, lively window treatments, and incredible wall coverings, which are sensational Schumacher designs from the Vera Neumann collection and Meg Braff Designs wallpapers.

To polish off these rooms, Tomasino worked with a variety of top vendors and builders, including Ressource, Walker Zanger tiles, Agalliu Contracting L.L.C., and more.

This recently-unveiled fundraising showhouse on Pineapple Street will be on display through November 3, so visitors in New York will be able to take in designer Kim Tomasino’s charming spaces in person.
