This April 2020 season of High Point Market, seven Polish furniture manufacturers will be sharing one beautiful showroom aimed at showcasing Poland’s furniture industry history, design pedigree, and quality status on an international scale.
In addition to displaying a variety of premium products at the bi-annual North Carolina show, this initiative by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and the Polish National Foundation also aims to educate North American buyers on Poland’s rich furniture market.
Participating brands include Case goods manufacturer Szynaka, full-line manufacturer Black Red White, upholstery label Gala Collezione, seating maker Vzor, decor brand Zieta, upholstery manufacturer Benix, and home furnishings brand Raw.
“We chose the United States because in this market we need to present Polish companies as a strong group,” said Jan Szynaka, the president of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and CEO of Szynaka, in a press statement via Furniture Today.
“It is also a new promotion model that allows combining the potential of companies with building the image of Poland as a country offering branded products.”
Marcin Zarzecki, the president of the Polish National Foundation, says that High Point is the perfect opportunity for showcasing Poland’s fine furniture quality.
“Polish products are a Polish success that needs to promoted in the world,” he said in a statement. “In our opinion, the implementation of the Polish furniture project provides tools for achieving our goal.”
The Polish exhibition will premiere this April season, but will continue during the October 2020 Fall Market and next April 2021’s Spring showcase. The upcoming exhibit will be featured at shared showroom space 204 of the 220 Elm building.
