“It’s a Jungle Out There!” as far as Massachusetts-based interior designer Robin Gannon of the firm Robin Gannon Interiors is concerned! For the 2020 Palm Beach Kips Bay Decorator Show House charity event, the designer transformed a guest bedroom and bath into an urban jungle.
“Elements of colonial era Africa coupled with thematic references to the ‘urban jungle’ are highlighted throughout the space in a playful way,” according to a Kips Bay press release. “Natural materials, palm tree motifs, and Currey & Company’s Tropical Semi-Flush chandelier embrace the home’s location, while eye-catching art and a plaid tufted headboard round out the space with sophisticated glam.”
“The bathroom also received a glamorous refresh with green tile adorning the shower walls, a vanity clad in Silestone by Cosentino in Pearl Jasmine with, a vanity surround and shower curtain by The Shade Store, and Kohler’s Iron Works Historic Bath,” the show revealed of the accompanying guest bath.
Additionally, Gannon worked with a variety of vendors, artists, and brands to furnish and decorate the rooms, including Benjamin Moore, Carlisle & Co., Partners In Design, Eleish Van Breems, New Moon Rugs, Merida Studio, Tyler Shields, Cavalier Ebanks Galleries, Sarah Winchester Studios, French Market Collection, Brunschwig & Fils, Fabricut, Dea Palm Beach, Artistic Tile, and more.
