The 2019 Holiday House NYC is now open for visitors! Fifteen talented designers, mostly from the local New York City area, showcased their great talents and curated styles for a newly-unveiled showroom in order to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
This fall’s holiday-themed show home, founded by designer Iris Dankner, is located at East 65th Street in Manhattan, in a 12,000 sq. foot, historic 1904 neo-Federal townhouse designed by architect Charles A. Platt.
The year’s participating designers and firms include Ally Coulter Designs, Bakes & Kropp, Baltimore Design Group, Bennett Leifer Interiors, Bjorn Bjornsson Interior Design, Elsa Soyars Interiors, Hilary Matt Interiors, Jasmine Lam Interior Design + Architecture, Lauren Berry Interior Design, The Lewis Design Group, MHM Interiors, Nicola Rosendorff Interior Design, Rooms by Zoya B, Studio Neshama, Tara Kantor Interiors, Touijer Designs, and Vanessa DeLeon Associates.
Each of the designers put their own signature spin on the modern and inviting spaces, which completely transformed the 4-storey historical residence for a great cause.
“This is my 22nd year as a breast cancer survivor, and I am thankful for all the hard work by everyone involved,” Dankner said in a statement. “Their support in raising money to fight this dreadful disease means the world to me. With each passing year, I meet many people who share sometimes tragic but often inspiring stories about how their lives or the lives of loved ones have been affected by the scourge of breast cancer. These stories give much meaning to everything I do and make all the hard work and effort worthwhile.”
This year’s show house will be open to the public from November 14 through December 15, 2019. General admission tickets are now available through Eventbrite.
