Coverings, an annual expo for the natural stone and ceramic tile industry, is gearing up to celebrate 30 years of innovations at the 2019 event, scheduled for April 9th-12th, in Orlando, Florida.
A lot has changed in the industry since 1990 when Coverings first began showcasing new trends and products. Since that first show in Anaheim, California, consumption of natural stone and ceramic tile products has tripled, thanks in part to Coverings’ role in facilitating relationships between manufacturers and distributors.
The scope of the annual expo has also expanded, with organizers estimating nearly 26,000 attendees, 1,100 exhibitors, and a breadth of educational and inspirational programming during the 4-day event.
“Coverings has become The Global Tile & Stone Experience, not only bringing the entire industry together but also educating the world on the importance of the craft of installation,” notes event organizers in a statement.
In the weeks and months leading up to the big event, Coverings plans to showcase past tile and stone trends, highlight past and present product innovations, and speak with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Architects, designers, builders, contractors, retailers, distributors and other industry professionals are invited to attend Coverings.
