Ceramic Tile Show Cersaie Returning To Bologna, Italy In 2019

Cersaie, the world’s largest international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, will be returning to Bologna, Italy from September 23-27, 2019. The show will feature more than 800 exhibitors and is set to attract more than 112,000 attendees from all around the world.

This year, you may quickly come to notice that Cersaie has a new look: through the “Open Cersaie” campaign, the show is debuting a new logo and branding in order to represent “an inclusive space in which ideas and energy can flow freely,” according to a show press release.

“‘Open Cersaie’ focuses on the importance of building relationships and fostering diversity in the world of architecture and design, and aims to reach new target audiences with a strategic digital media plan,” the show explained in a statement.

Of course, there’s more than a new look in store for Cersaie 2019. This year’s event programming also reflects the exhibition’s rich history and diverse audience.

During the 2019 show, expect to see notable Chilean architect Felipe Assadi, who will be part of the “Building, Dwelling, Thinking” cultural program. Assadi will also be speaking about his work across Latin America, the United States, and beyond.

Then, a new exhibition called Archincont(r)act – which has been specifically designed as a networking opportunity for architects, exhibitors, and suppliers from across contract design sector – will celebrate its debut at Cersaie. Make sure to keep an eye out, as Ceramics of Italy will also be showcasing the latest designs in the industry on this global stage.

Longtime Cersaie attendees will recall there’s always a great themed exhibition space to check out during the event. In 2019, visitors will find their fix in the Famous Bathrooms conceptual art gallery in Hall 30. The space has has been curated by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli, and is set to feature beautiful and elaborate bathroom vignettes  that inspired by iconic historical figures. Think legendary iconis like Coco Chanel, Piet Mondrian, Sigmund Freud, and The Beatles!
