The 2020 New York Kips Bay Decorator Show House may be postponed this year, but that doesn’t mean the organization isn’t doing big things to continue a 47-year tradition of giving back.
Each season, the esteemed designer showcase raises critical funds for the work of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Due to COVID-19 concerns, an in-person townhouse overhaul just isn’t a possibility this spring, so the event organizers have announced a raffle to keep the spirit of fundraising alive before a postponed date is announced.
The Kips Bay raffle will give industry professionals, interior design enthusiasts, and members of the larger design community the opportunity to win special prizes donated by top Show House sponsors with their funds. Tickets are now selling for $50 each.
Raffle prizes include a Benjamin Moore paint package (worth $500); a one-hour consultation with The Luxury Design Collection; a CuratedKravet Serengeti Hexagonal Mirror (valued at $1,590); a $1,000 gift certificate to The Shade Store; Lutron’s Caseta Light Dimmers package (valued at around $450 each); a Jennair Dual Zone Beverage Center (worth $2,499); and more.
To enter the raffle, visit KipsBay.org/donate and buy your tickets, screenshot your confirmation, and send it to [email protected] to express the prize(s) you’re interested in.
“Your support of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s programs is crucial and deeply appreciated by all in the Kips community, especially the 10,000 plus children who benefit from our after school programs,” event organizers shared on the show house website.
