Arch-Interiors designer and House Tipster Industry host Christopher Grubb was on the scene at the event, and had the chance to speak all about it exclusively with Master Plumber Ed Del Grande at Kohler’s booth.
This season, the spotlight is on Sterling, a division of Kohler for 20 years, is showcasing a new selection of beautifully-designed but “builder-friendly” pieces with an affordable price tag.
“Our message is, we want to give even spec houses the chance to upgrade to really good fixtures and still keep within budget,” Del Grande said. “So what we do is make the products easy for the plumbers and contracts to install, and we design them a little bit differently so now we make affordable, beautiful, trendy products.”
One key piece of the KBIS 2019 show is the Stinson toilet, which features a flared tank and a slow-close seat. The California-green technology toilet only uses 1.28 gallons per flush, making it an eco-friendly option that doesn’t sacrifice on style.
“Again, Sterling says, ‘Why can’t we have powerful flushing toilets and still be water efficient?'” Del Grande noted. “The more water we save, the better for everybody.”
Another way to save through efficiency is on cleaning time. Sterling’s Brella skirted toilet features a sleek base that helps with easy maintenance, and doesn’t require any drilling to install.
Brand new this year, Sterling is also releasing innovative and impeccably designed lighted mirrors. Just like the line’s other items, they are quick and easy to install, and deliver a high-fashion appearance for the space.
Call us impressed with Sterling’s spectacular new pieces, which make everyday living more functional and beautiful.
