This Summer 2019 season of Las Vegas Market, the Twin Star Home showroom space got a special makeover, thanks to commissioned designs by Rachel Moriarty of Rachel Moriarty Interiors, Treci Smith of Treci Smith Designs, and Shannon Ggem of Ggem Design.

To hear the stories behind this refreshing consumer-focused “style takeover,” our host, Arch-Interiors designer Christopher Grubb, caught up with this all-star design team and Twin Star Home VP of Marketing, Lisa Codi, during this year’s showcase.

“One of the things we’re really proud of at Twin Star is our leadership, and the market leadership that we own with electric fireplaces,” Codi told us. “We want people to think of us as a fire and furnishings company.”

“What makes us special is our approach: everything that we do here comes through the lens of the consumer,” Codi added. “So rather than developing products and figuring out who we’re going to sell them to, we actually have a very deep understanding of four specific consumer segments that are our beacons of light in everything from product development all the way through to the type of content we create – which is where the style influencers come in.”

Twin Star is known for their fireplace products, but are also interested in giving their shoppers a more well-rounded options for decorating their space.

“We’ve learned that for our consumers, people are buying pieces and putting them into their homes, but they also want to have pieces that complement around that,” Codi said. “Everything’s centered around form and function, and there’s a lot of innovation in everything that we do.”

Throughout the showroom, visitors are able to see highlights of three esteemed designers’ work, which encapsulates several different living spaces.

“We were approached, and we thought it was a great opportunity,” Rachel Moriarty explained. “One, [Treci Smith and I] travel all the markets together, so we thought, what a fun way to collaborate on this project. They approached us to do a style takeover, and gave us two collections and a dossier of who their client was, and we did what we do. We brought in the layers, and brought us into the space to bring it to life.”
