Throughout his career, the designer worked to create luxury pieces with a timeless quality, inspired by the classic works of cross-genre artists like Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, and Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann. His design philosophy? To never overwork a piece, and let its natural beauty shine through. This is something he consistently excelled at.

“I think a lot of times, you look at a piece and think of how you can improve it,” the designer shared with House Tipster Industry at Spring High Point Market 2019. “When I look at some pieces, actually it’s standing the test of time. Then I don’t have to do anything more. I tend to tweak it a little bit here, and tweak it a little bit there. Now it’s about how to create timeless pieces.”
