Ave Home Brings Raw Furniture to High Point

Ave Home, a furniture manufacturer known for their fresh taken on classic design, stunned at the Spring 2019 High Point Market with their ever-expanding assortment of raw and custom-finished home products.

During the biannual industry trade show, Marketing Manager Sarah Drew met up with House Tipster to discuss the brand’s newest collections and signature pieces, starting with the Raw Collection.

“It’s unfinished, and you can leave it raw or customize it with paint or stain to fit any space,” Drew explained. The Louie Dresser, one of Ave Home’s best-selling pieces and a standout among the Raw Collection, features carved fluted legs along with brass-capped feet. Traditional and low-profile, Louie features that distinct antique curve that gives it a neoclassical look but with a completely contemporary edge. The rounded Phillippe Mirror, with its pearl wood accents, blends seamlessly with Louie and the rest of the Raw Collection.

Ave Home’s perfect mealtime solution is found in Aria, a collection that pays homage to the Swedish Gustavian style with beautifully carved pieces. The table, chairs, buffets, and dressers under the Aria umbrella are all hand-painted using high-quality paint and weathering techniques from Ave Home’s sister brand, Jolie Home.

Jolie Home paints are worth mentioning because they’re virtually unmatched in quality, and they don’t require sanding or priming. These paint hues, stains, and other embellishments work particularly well with Ave Home’s raw pieces. However, the paint is versatile enough that it can be used on everything from furniture to walls and floors.

Ave Home’s Carlyle Collection and Chloe Collection rounded out the showroom experience at High Point. The Chloe Burl Console, a customer favorite, stuns with an organic finish and structured shape, while homeowners going for a “glam” look may find the brand’s Carlyle Campaign Dressers with striking metal brace finishes do the trick.
