BOLD by Design Magazine celebrates launch with events at High Point

New interior design publication BOLD by Design Magazine held their Summer Launch Series from June 5 to June 7 at High Point Market.

The magazine, created by interior design business coach Julia Molloy, was celebrated through the hosting of three exciting events at High Point.

The first event was held on Saturday, June 5 at ZUO Modern’s 26,000 square foot showroom in IHFC’s Design Wing. This event, called a “BOLD Happy Hour,” was a fun event celebrating the magazine’s official launch. Attendees were offered specialty BOLD Cocktails, ZUO’s famous frozen margaritas, lite bites, and even a drawing for exclusive BOLD swag and ZUO product giveaways.

Famed interior designer of HGTV fame Donna Moss appeared at the event, and distributed signed copies of her new luxury design book, Best of Show.

The second event to take place was on Sunday, June 6, at luxury brand Phillips Collection’s flagship showroom in the Commerce Wing. The “Sip and Shop” event featured BOLD swag, Philips Collection product giveaways, as well as specialty cocktails and lite bites.

The last event in the series was an exciting “Summer Social” event on Monday, June 7 at the Suites on Market Square. The tropical theme was created to launch rug brand Unique Loom’s new Outdoor Botanical’s Collection.

This event featured an educational segment by Molloy. A question and answer session based around the theme of “Bold Leader for Creatives” was held, moderated by Unique Loom’s Marketing Manager, Whitney Hodge.

Like the other events, the event featured BOLD cocktails, lite bites, BOLD magazine swag, as well as a special Unique Loom product giveaway. Donna Moss was also in attendance at this event.

“I am honored to be part of Julia’s BOLD Empire and tasked with helping to create BOLD by Design Magazine’s Summer Launch,” said Serena Martin, the event producer of BOLD by Design Magazine.

Martin described the process of creating the events.

“Working to develop partnerships that align with three of the trade industries leading manufacturers began with the concept for three distinctly different events to highlight each brand’s unique style,” said Martin. “This set the stage for incredible events where market attendees will get to experience BOLD by Design Magazine even before our distribution ships.”

Martin says she can’t wait to “hear how attendees feel after reading BOLD.”

“From the original content that is both thoughtful and inspiring, to the way Julia juxtaposes fashion mixed with luxury interiors – BOLD by Design Magazine has its pulse on what is to Be BOLD… because it’s what Julia Molloy knows best!”
