Aspire Design and Home is presenting the 2019 Christopher Kennedy Show House, now open in Turlock, California. This event is in celebration of American Homes & Towns, featuring talented and well-known tastemakers from across the state, in Ocean County, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Palm Springs.
The mission of this event is to “celebrate design, commerce, ingenuity, and communities in America.”
“We believe that great design is not just reserved for big cities,” show organizers said on the event’s website. “We renovate a classic American property for a very real family, bringing together the best of modern technology and great design talents – all to benefit a deserving local charity.”
“Before 2014, there was no decorator show house in Palm Springs – as there is in Pasadena, The Hamptons, Napa Valley, Dallas, and other great cities. I sought to rectify that, so I created the event,” Kennedy shared on his Instagram page.
“Six years later, The Christopher Kennedy Compound during Modernism Week in Palm Springs is widely regarded as one of the two most influential decorator show houses in the country, second only to the venerable (and nearly 50 year-old) Kips Bay Show House in New York. Now, I am ready to bring the Christopher Kennedy Show House to deserving cities across America, starting with the Central Valley.”
This October, the annual event is teaming up with Dancing with the Turlock Stars to raise money for CovenantCare, Jessica’s House, and the Salvation Army.
This year’s show house features the impeccable designs of Justine Macfee, Kelli Ellis, Jane Warda Smith, Dan Rak, Keith Fortner, Raili Clasen, Nicole Kasprzyk, Kathleen Jennison, Max Humphrey, Nar Bustamante, Natasha Miasian, Barrie Livingstone, Lindsey Borchard, Chris Reed, and Mark Lytle, along with Christopher Kennedy.
The Christopher Kennedy Show House will be open from October 5 through 20th, 2019 at 1765 California Ave in Turlock, Modesto, California. Tickets are now available on the show’s events page.
