In light of COVID-19, High Point Market’s Spring 2020 season has been canceled. But that doesn’t mean the show won’t still go on in some modified way! Show organizers have announced a new live stream program from its 2020 Style Spotters team.
The tradition of Style Spotters LIVE! usually happens every Tuesday during the market season. It’s intended to give attendees product insights, trend predictions, and an overview of launches and introductions through an esteemed panel discussion and interactive Pinterest experience.
This year, the live event will specifically tackle how businesses are moving forward amidst COVID-19 complications. It’s all set to happen on May 14 via Zoom at 2 PM ET. Products from HPMKT vendors have been compiled by a team of eight members – including Rachel Cannon, Nancy Fire, Joanna Hawley-McBride, Don Ricardo Massenburg, Rachel Moriarty, Ivonne Ronderos, Victoria Sanchez, and Keita Turner – who will join on to discuss their finds, hosted by Style Spotters Advisors Shay Geyer and Gary Inman.
“Style Spotters LIVE! is always an energy-packed, insight-rich event that usually draws a standing-room-only crowd. Even though we can’t all be together, I’m thankful for the team’s commitment to digitally dive into the current product offerings and offer a virtual event that will provide a thorough overview of what’s trending,” said Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority, in a press statement. “This a creative industry, and despite the present situation, we still thrive on inspiration, which this event will certainly provide.”
In timing with this programming, the Style Spotters team will also be compiling their usual Pinterest boards packed with their picks of the season, and debuting them live to the public as soon as the live webinar has concluded.
