This line, titled “The Tile from Ipanema Collection,” features a variety of curvy, color-contrasted mosaic tiles that are each inspired by Brazil’s Copacobana and Ipanema white sand beaches. Of course, the collection name also references the famous Peggy Lee song, “The Girl from Ipanema.”
The designs are “born with the rhythm of the tropics in mind, yet firmly rooted in a modernist design that encompasses movement, waves and geometry, all at one swift glance,” according to a launch description. “Portuguese pavement, as it is also known, is made of marble mosaics and comes in a variety of designs which appear in colonial Portuguese ports around the world.”
The digital prints and handcrafted mosaics are both innovative and luxurious, and a stunning complement to a variety of home projects.
The complete tile range is on beautiful display at Unique Design Solutions’ Kitchen and Bath Industry Show space in the Las Vegas Convention Center Booth SL1621 through January 23, 2020.
