Novalis Innovative Flooring has been creating luxury vinyl tile since 1984.What started out as a small company has grown into a well-known global brand with locations in 50 countries across six continents.

Novalis was celebrating its 30th anniversary full force at The International Surface Event in Las Vegas, Nevada this winter season. There, the House Tipster team was able to speak exclusively with Summer Turner, the national account manager at Novalis, to hear about the company’s impressive history of innovations.

“We were one of the very first luxury vinyl manufacturers in China. We are celebrating our 30th year since we shipped our first container, so TISE is a very special event for us this year,” Turner said at the event. “Luxury vinyl tile is very hot on the market today, and we have some very unique products.”

Novalis has set itself apart from its competitors for three decades because of their focus on customer satisfaction and commitment to producing the highest quality, most innovative and sustainable flooring. They are unique in that they have invested heavily in the hot press manufacturing process. This innovative process allows the planks to get a deep, embossed in register finish that stands out in quality and truly enhances the natural wood grain giving the most realistic visual possible.

“It really gives the most authentic hardwood floor look: not just in the visual, but in the texture as well,” said Turner.

Novalis has always made popular products for the design-savvy residential customer, and the brand has recently introduced more products that would be ideal for the commercial market.

“We’ve are seeing a great increase of use of our products in hospitality and educational facilities,” said Turner of the expansion.

Novalis also takes pride in being good to the environment while creating its products. It is a zero-landfill manufacturing company that recycles all of its waste. All of its luxury vinyl tile can be recycled to make new flooring – which sets the brand up for an eco-friendly future ahead.
