Every month, Ace Hardware‘s Paint Studio reveals its Color of the Month pick for the upcoming 30 days ahead.

For November 2019, the shade being featured by the brand is Valspar‘s Bright Cactus VR015D.

“Today, luxury means enjoying experiences that are more exclusive and extreme,” The Paint Studio shared on its website. “This fearless color answers the call — allowing us to live dangerously without being in harm’s way.”

This citric green is an unexpectedly electric pick for a cool fall month, and a bold departure from October’s standout neutral gray-green, Clark + Kensington’s Family Reunion.

“Use this intrepid green in small doses on an accent wall or by creating a color zone, surrounded by clean black lines to help this bold color shine,” Ace Hardware advised. “Paint the ceiling with graphic lines for a special experience.”

You will surely find tons of creative and fun ways to use the vibrant shade Bright Cactus throughout residential, hospitality, and work spaces, but the brand especially recommends it be paired with calmer shades like Tomcat VR114A, Spiced Latte VR069D, and Simple Gray VR105C.
